WikiFestival

WikiFestival Campaign is an annual international campaign organized by Wikimedia UG Nigeria and held every November. It invites Wikimedia contributors, photographers, videographers, and writers from around the world to upload photos and videos of festivals to Wikimedia Commons, and to improve Wikipedia articles related to those festivals.

Festivals—whether cultural, religious, traditional, or modern—are vibrant expressions of the identity, beliefs, and values of communities across the globe. However, many of these rich celebrations remain underrepresented or undocumented on Wikimedia platforms.
